STREAMING/RECORDING

• Matches will be streamed live and archived via the AKG Twitch.TV channel (twitch.tv/alaskagamers)
• Featured matches be will recorded in HD and be archived on our YouTube channel (youtube.com/AlaskaGamers)

• Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition 2012 (360)
• Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion (PS3)

FEES

$3 entry fee per bracket. $5 if competing in both brackets on the same day. ($2 per game goes to venue, $1 goes to a community pot to fund prizes and league expenses)

RULES

• Double-elimination bracket. Players will be seeded based on previous standings. (UMvC and AE2012 are considered new games due to significant balance and/or roster changes. Seeding will reset and be based off previous AKG tournament results. For example, vanilla MvC3 results will have no effect on Season 2 seeding for UMvC3.)
• Best 2 of 3 games wins the match. Winners Final, Losers Final, and Grand Final are played first to 3 games. (SF 2/3 rounds, Tekken 3/5 rounds)
• Bring your own controller. All types (wired/wireless, stick/pad, converters) are acceptable.
• All characters are allowed to use. No bans on DLC characters.
• A 1-minute final call may be issued for a player who does not begin their match on time. Failure to start on time after the final call will result in an automatic forfeit for that match.

RANKING POINTS

Ranking points will be awarded to top finishers of every bracket. These will be used to seed brackets as well.

Every Tuesday night starting December 13. Registration for games starting at 8PM will end at 7:50PM. Registration for 9PM games ends at 8:50PM. Venue closes at midnight. NOTE: The schedule is tentative and subject to change at any time. Please check the schedule before attending any session.

PLAYOFFS

After the regular season, the top 8 finishers in total points for each game will compete in a single-elimination playoff bracket to determine the winner of this season. In the case of any tied ranking, a preliminary round will be played to place into the playoff bracket.

• Preliminary (To break ties to dermine Top 8): Best 2 of 3 games
• Round 1 (8 players): First to 3 games
• Semi-Final (4 Players): First to 4 games
• Championship Round: First to 5 games

UPDATE: Playoff schedule has been udpated as of 1/19/12. Preliminaries and first rounds will be held on Tuesday, February 21 beginning at 8:00pm. Semi-final and finals will be held on Sunday, February 26 beginning at 6:00pm.
